Post 2, The Interview

How long have you lived in New York?
- I was born in New York, she always live in New York.

Where did you go to high school? What kind of student were you in high school? What were your favorite classes/least favorite? What sports and extracurricular activities did you do?
- I did go to high school in New Jersey. I play piano and things about musical. My favorite class is History class. I dance also did volunteer jobs.

Did you go to college? Graduate school? If so, where? For how long? What degree(s) did you earn? Are you interested in going back to school?
- I did go to college and graduate school. Four year college and two year graduate school. If I may go back to school I will take education class.

How did you choose your current occupation?
- I choose my current occupation to teach, to teach kid, it’s cool to o teach kids. I want to be different.

What steps did you take to get this job? How did you learn about it? How many interviews did you have? Was the hiring process difficult, not difficult? If a person were looking for a job at your company, what advice would you offer?
- I take the steps were to work out city to 3 years, want school close to my home, sent out the resume to new school. I had 3 interviews for different school. The hired process was not really difficult. If a person were looking for a job at your company, I offer to get to know the school and areas.

How long have you worked here? Have you worked in different capacities at this job? What jobs at this company have you done on addition to the one you do know?
- I work here for 2 years. Before, I taught 4th grade for 3 years.

What is your job title and what are the three tasks or responsibilities you do most often?
- My job title is a teacher. The three tasks/responsibilities I do most often are plan lesson, teach, and talk to student and feedback.

Who is your direct supervisor and what his or her job title is. How much do you interact with him on a weekly basis? How much many people do you supervise?
- My direct supervisor is Donna, she is principal. And Nicole, she is assistant principal. I see them every day. I supervise 28 students.

What are two examples of challenges you face working here?
- Having a large class.
- Regularly talking to parents, lots of e-mail try to date it up.

What is the best part of your job?
- The best part of my job is being of the kids all day.

What is something you would like to change about your job?
- I can have more time to do some of the work in school, less work to take home.

Did you work somewhere else before this job? Where? For how long? How was that different
or similar?
- I worked in another school for 3 years. The difference is to teach different grades.

What do you see as your future in this Company? If you plan on changing Jobs, what will you
do?
- I will be still to be a teacher, maybe changing the grade.

How do you hope I, a High School intern, can most help your company or Organization?
- Spending time with the kids, talking to them, answer questions for them.

What advice would you give to teenager interns (such as myself) getting ready for college?
- To study some that you love.
- To think about the work place you have to choose.

What advice would you give to teenager interns (such as myself) preparing to find a career?
- BEING PRAPARE.
- TALING CHANCES.
